Lie Detectors
Lie detector, or polygraph tests, are an almost fool-proof way of finding out whether someone is telling the truth or not. A series of electrodes placed on the skin measure conductivity, which changes when a person is lying. By establishing a baseline where the subject is definately telling the truth (saying their name for example) the difference can be seen when they are lying.
Birmingham surveillance are luck enough to have polygraph machines that can be utilised to test a partners fidelity or whereabouts on certain occasions or to answer other questions.
